UNDERSTANDING YOUR DOOR

1.) WINDOW SECTION-your window size/style may varry or your top section may not have windows at all
2.) SECTIONS-sections are intlocked together by support styles and hinges
3.)BOTTOM BRACKETS-Are located at the bottom of your door and are connected to the spring assembly. (Don't touch this call a professional)
4.)PULLEY/BEARING PLATE/DRUM-If your door has a torsion spring then this is were you will find a bearing plate and cable drum. If your door has extension springs this is were you will find a pulley. (Don't touch this at all, call a professional)
5.)TORSION TUBE/TORSION SPRING-If your door has a torsion spring then this is were you will find a tube that holds the torsion spring and the torsion spring. (Don't touch this at all under extreme tension, call a professional)
6.) EXTENSION SPRING-If your door has extension springs then you will find these horizontaly located on both sides of the tracks . (Don't touch these they are under exteme tension, call a professional)
7.)TRACK HANGER BRACKETS-These are located at the back of the tracks and support the weight of the door
8.)TRACKS-These are on both sides of your door and the rollers inside the hinges that are connected to your sections roll inside of these. This is what supports your door.
